I was crushed to hear this news. I served as a contributing editor for Maniacs under editor Liz Ciavarella, but I first fell in love with MM under Katherine's tenure. We stayed friends till the end, and it was just really surprising to hear she was gone, considering I thought her treatment was going well. She'll be missed.
