It's not weird that you don't like MST3K but it is kinda weird that you like the Rifftrax stuff but don't like MST3K, as they're basically the same thing. I don't usually care for the skits and stuff that they do in between parts of the movies like a lot of hardcore fans do, but I do enjoy the commentary usually.

Same here, I don't care for the skit stuff (except the Monkey Fashion Show in "Time of the Apes"). I watched some of Touch of Satan on Netshit, but it didn't keep me entertained so I watched something else.Comment

Yesterday....
The Girl Traders - I don't really know what was going on here. Some pimp type guys decide to hold a Ms. Busom Contest in order to get some hot chicks to come to their town so they can kidnap them and force them to work as prostitutes I think, then it just sort of ends.
Firecracker - decent Filipino/Ciro Santiago kung fu movie with some cool fights, good nudity and a very familiar sounding score.
Metropolis - hadn't seen this in a while, it was the Giorgio Moroder version from the 80s with some color tinting applied to it and an 80s rock score behind it. The original version is better but it was kind of interesting to see it this way and it looked good on BD.Rock! Shock! Pop!Comment

EYE IN THE SKY. Simon Yam in a paunch as the dogged head of a police surveillance team, Tony Leung Ka-Fai looking like Henry Silva as the mastermind robber, and Kate Tsui as the cute rookie in the unit. Lam Suet eats a lot of tasty looking stuff. There's some trademark Milkyway structural trickiness, but it's good police procedural cops n robbers stuff. Comeuppance is a bitch.Comment

The Birds - it's crazy how Tippi Hedron just cruises over to Mitch's place and lets herself in and leaves birds in his pad. That's crazy stalker chick material right there. Anyway, I guess cause she's hot Mitch is down with it and before you know it birds are attacking people.
