For Zombies the Beginning they should interview the real screen writer James Cameron.

        Some press info...

BRUNO MATTEI'S FINAL ZOMBIE GUT-MUNCHERS ON DVD FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN AMERICA!

Intervision Picture Corp proudly continues its line of jaw-dropping gore fests from the late Bruno Mattei (aka Vincent Dawn) with the first US release of his final features, ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD and ZOMBIES THE BEGINNING. Back in the golden era of Italian splatter alongside contemporaries like Fulci, Lenzi, Deodato, and D'Amato, Mattei produced a string of shamelessly salacious low budget exploitation shockers like HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD, RATS NIGHT OF TERROR, WOMENS PRISON MASSACRE, THE OTHER HELL and SS GIRLS. But he would end his days in the first seven years of this century defying market demand by continuing on this fine tradition producing a remarkable string of quickie gore madness in the Philippines.

ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD (2007)

Bruno Mattei makes his triumphant return to the zombie genre with his penultimate gorefest: When a boneheaded group of treasure hunters are shipwrecked near a deserted island, they'll instead discover an undead nightmare of flesh chomping, skull blasting, absurd plotting, perplexing flamenco, and old-school levels of graphic zombie carnage, now presented uncut and uncensored!

        ZOMBIES THE BEGINNING (2007)

For his final film, the notorious Mattei delivers his ultimate over-the-top masterpiece: In this insane rip-off of ALIENS, Mattei packs the screen with shredding flesh, munching guts, exploding heads, undead births, borrowed footage, stolen plots, zombie midgets and more, now presented uncut and uncensored!

This just popped up on the Intervision FB page:

"Mattei's THE JAIL has to be his most insane and sleazy, have any of you seen it? Just got our box copy in: For his second-to-last film, the late writer/director Bruno Mattei returned to the genre that established his reputation as a true Maestro of EuroSleaze: When a group of women are sentenced to a jungle hellhole prison known as 'The House of Lost Souls', they'll enter a sweaty nightmare of sadistic guards, menacing lesbians and rampant nudity. But Mattei - here under his alias 'Vincent Dawn' - also packs his final babes-behind-bars saga with enough degradations, perversions, jaw-dropping violence and over-the-top performances to set all-new standards of genre depravity. Yvette Yzon (ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD), Dyane Craystan (ZOMBIES: THE BEGINNING) and Jim Gaines (ROBOWAR) star in this Philippines filth-fest produced by Giovanni Paolucci (MONDO CANNIBAL), now presented uncut and uncensored for the first time ever in America!"

                Just posted on FB:

'Key art reveal. Sometimes the lack of high street stores left to sell such movies is immaterial as I doubt they'd display this new artwork by Wes Benscoter. Bruno Mattei's truly outrageous final foray into the WIP sub-genre coming in October from Intervision Picture Corp ."

"And for that release of THE JAIL stars of Mattei's final films Yvette Yzon and Alvin Anson were interviewed earlier today in Manila, the Philippines, for an exclusive featurette on working with the man who spent his autumn years making zombie, cannibal and women in Prison movies!"

So that Severin event in LA from over the weekend I've mentioned a bunch of times this morning? They also showed the trailer for Robowar.
