I am 2 episodes in and the pacing is much slower. I had to fast forward a bit which is something I hate but there was just too much spinning of the wheels for my taste. Yeah, I get it, Matt's having a crisis of faith. Gotcha'. Can we please move forwards? But the end of episode 2 greatly picks up. All scenes with Kingpin so far have been their usual best."Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

Finished the first 3 episodes last night. Had no problem with the pacing of the first 2, I figure they had to give Matt time to heal and get his head back together after the end of S2 and that's what they did. I was completely fine with it. But yeah, they definitely do pick up the pace with episode 3 and as you say, Donofrio is fantastic here.Rock! Shock! Pop!

D'Onofrio on Daredevil cancellation rumors: "Nope."

Also, watched episode 6 last night after taking a few nights off. I really dig the way they're bringing Bullseye into this, positing him as dangerous and lethal and all that stuff while managing to build some interesting sympathetic angles for his character before letting him really go off the rails.Rock! I just finished season 3. It was absolutely fantastic. About as good as season 1 which would get a 10/10 from me.
It did feel like a finale in a lot of ways even though doors were left open. If the show ended now I wouldn't be too upset about it. It would just be a shame that it would end before adapting Born Again which this season borrowed some elements from but wasn't really an adaptation of. Just like how Dark Knight Rises is not really an adaptation of Dark Knight Returns or a true adaptation of Knightfall.Last edited by Alex K.; 10-31-2018, 06:55 PM."Ah!
