There's also a (spendy, depending on where you buy) box set of all of the episodes.

Not sure if they are still doing it,but for a long time Boomerang showed PPG every night. Around 9pm central.

PPG and Dexter's Lab both hold up really well in my opinion. They're obviously meant for kids but there's a lot of wacky humor in there for adults too. Both shows were pretty clever. Very cool design work in both of them as well.

Yeah, the original still stands up well, with lots of great in-jokes and short running time for short attention spans. And the music is great.

Seriously, as far as "modern" cartoons go, PPG was awesome.

The last time McCracken got left out, the Powerpuff Girls Movie got released with a 1.33:1 transfer on DVD.

Yep...gotta go with this opinion 100%...Computer generated cartoons will lose the feeling of the original..as (obviously) will the non-input of McCracken....

Gotta agree with this. Did you guys ever see the Japanese version of the show PPGZ? I like it.

I'll give it a chance and expect it to come nowhere close to the greatness of the original (which we still watch in reruns and quite enjoy).

"The new, computer generated special has been directed by Dave Smith, designed by Kevin Dart and features the same lead voice roles as the original show.

Ringo Starr has a guest starring part too as… er… um… a mathematician called Fibonnaci Sequins. Right. He does get a song, though, called I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl. Sounds like he may be the villain. Or maybe a hero who will get his wish for a bit - wouldn't be the first time he was the tacked-on fourth wheel, would it?"

Craig McCracken will not be involved.

    More details here.
