I believe I'll be watching this tonight or tomorrow.

I suspect we'd be better off revisiting Savage's definitive history of UK punk 'England's Dreaming' rather than watching this. But I will be watching regardless.

I will watch this just for the amusement that it being on Disney+ brings to me

That's weird, it is in my menu. Do you have a PIN set up on your profile to enable mature content?

First review I've seen of it: https://deadline.com/2022/05/sex-pis...lu-1235036035/

I think the headline sums it up pretty directly: Danny Boyle & FX’s Sex Pistols Miniseries Is More Junk Than Punk

                I had not.

                Wow, this is really bad.

This popped up on Hulu yesterday. Didn't get to it last night but morbid curiosity will get the better of me at some point.

I'm surprised, as I consider Boyle to be a very reliable filmmaker.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

The Guardian review described it as pantomime.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I do too, and you see bits of him in there with some of the compositions. But that doesn't save it.

They were pretty bang on with that.

I got the last 2 episodes to watch. And I wouldn't call it bad. Just it ain't good either. But something about it keeps me watching.
