  • It's a shame Yellowstone lost so much steam between the pandemic, the writer's strike and the litany of spinoffs spreading Taylor's attention pretty thin. Losing Kevin Costner for the finale seems like a real bush league move on both parties part. Still, I'm in it until the end, and each spinoff and sister series has been wildly entertaining. Looking forward to this Michelle Pfeiffer show too.

    • Can you imagine what Kelly Reilly's character would be like in real life? I know they try to portray her as this every man's fantasy/girl boss/tortured genius type, but in every episode I've seen (and I've seen most of the first few seasons), she's constantly guzzling booze and dragging on a cigarette. Plus, they never show her actually buckling down and doing work, yet she somehow is always one step ahead of everyone.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think a promiscuous booze-soaked overgrown teenager with an ashtray for a mouth, is some irresistible prize of a woman.

Show was an OK time waster in my book, but without Costner, who gives a shit?

Some of the best episodes of the show have little to no Costner, so his departure doesn't lessen the show in any real way.

Beth is a fantasy cartoon character. She's a monster. They're all monsters except Kayce and he's killed the most people while being in a Navy Seal. He even said, he's a killer but not a murderer. The rest of them are all unhinged psychos, especially Beth and Rip. The are very broken unrealistic people. That's what makes it so much fun.

Thomas Rainwater is the hero of the show. 1883 even shows them making a deal with the Natives to return the land to them in 7 generations.

            • I hope to be pleasantly surprised by the conclusion of this series, because I don't really give a shit now. The buzz has worn off. As far as Sheridan projects are concerned, I think the most exciting is currently Mayor of Kingstown.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

              • i really enjoyed Sicario. gave up on Yellowstone after 2 or 3 episodes. Liked Wind River and Hell or High Water was decent but my interest with this guy now is on the third Sicario, if it happens
