Tubi is awesome! And I'm always finding stuff on there.

    Mondo Cane
    Mondo Cane 2
    Africa Blood and Guts

And most incredibly, "Goodbye Uncle Tom!" WOW!

I just started seeing ads for Tubi TV last week on cable channels. I hope becoming more well-known doesn't lead to their sloughing off all the obscure titles they offer in favor of things that might appeal only to a wide audience, as they have quite a treasure trove of rare flicks.

Fucking awesome. Tubi is becoming one of my favourite streaming services since I've been stuck in the basement.

    From the latest AGFA newsletter:

No matter what's going on in the world, movies will always be a respite for the soul. And right now, our souls need it more than ever. While you're staying safe at home, we're happy to offer selections from AGFA's home video catalog on Tubi -- for free! If you enjoy these movies, remember that they're available on Blu-ray/DVD with loads of extras, and every purchase keeps AGFA's non-profit mission alive. But for now, start watching:

    ANATOMY OF A PSYCHO
    ANOTHER SON OF SAM
    BAD BLACK
    BLOOD LAKE
    BRAWL BUSTERS
    EFFECTS
    GODMONSTER OF INDIAN FLATS
I WAS A TEENAGE SERIAL KILLER
    LADY STREET FIGHTER
    THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT
MARY JANE'S NOT A VIRGIN ANYMORE
    SATAN'S CHILDREN
    SCARY MOVIE
    THE SWORD AND THE CLAW
    THE VIOLENT YEARS
    WHO KILLED CAPTAIN ALEX?
    THE ZODIAC KILLER

Yes. They are also the reason the Canadian Blu-rays for Vikings are the broadcast edits and not uncensored like every other market, and why Canada never got the anamorphic DVD of the Crow or the 3-disc Sin City recut Blu, among other things. And that's just their home video side!

I worked for the theatrical distributor that handled them, so I hate them even more than the average Canadian movie buff. I think I did a big post about what a stupid company they are back on the AVManiacs board years ago. They really fucking suck for a multitude of reasons, almost all of which come down to a mix of cheapness and egomania.
