The place held, I think, 168 people according to the website. I'd say it was about 80% full. Empty seats towards the back.
But damn he was funny, and without the censorship issues of TV to deal with, he cut loose a few times. Not super profane, but far dirtier than the Buddy monologues were on TV. And he got the audience in on it a few times, walking through the crowd and at one point just randomly sitting on some guys lap... 'Why hello, stud!'
He really hasn't lost a beat. He's older and heavier - like we all are - but still, when he's Buddy, you know he's Buddy if that makes sense.
It was $20 well spent.Rock! Shock! Pop!
