I don't know why anyone expected this not to be a train wreck, considering it's the bozos behind Riverdale making it. I'll probably watch it with my wife and daughter and we will all heckle it and wonder why we aren't watching something better.

I think one episode is probably enough for me. It's a teen drama squarely aimed at teenage girls. I'm not a teenager or a girl and I think you need to tick off at least one of those to really get into this.
Lead actress is impressive though. Very self assured in a way you'd expect from a much older actress. Can't stand the character she's playing though. And it looks great. And there were a few good moments. Hell, I'll possibly give it one episode once I finish with Bodyguard."Never let the fact that they are doing it wrong stop you from doing it right." Hyman Mandell.

That's a shame, that statue is fucking awesome.
Anyway, it's my "on the treadmill show", and I just finished it. It's quite good, overall. Definitely went some places I wouldn't have expected, but also had some genuine moments of dumb; the dream demon episode, for example; but generally, a pleasant watch with some good casting.

Watched the first episode last night. It was ok. Seemed like they crammed a LOT into that first episode but I imagine things will get fleshed out a bit more as it progresses. I wasn't blown away by it but I liked the first episode enough that I'm willing to watch a few more and see if it improves. It's cool seeing Michelle Gomez and Lucy Davis in this.Rock! Shock! Pop!
