I've seen no official announcement, but it looks like a Target exclusive Blu-ray/DVD set is coming out on October 17

whatever was in that video must be hiding cuz i never found any info on it. saw a few bootlegs with the same packaging but that's it.

cool that this is coming out finally. hope it is loaded up with extras

picked up Season 1 today. went to Target around 1pm. pretty decent amount on the shelf. was debating whether or not to buy it but i really wanted to know for sure about extras. just the poster. no extras on the blurays. didn't check the dvds. nice set. will watch later tonight. curious about the audio.

only nitpick: there is a commercial for season 2 and The Defenders at the beginning. not able to skip it or fast forward

the audio sounds pretty quiet compared to streaming Stranger Things thru Netflix. bit of a major bummer. have the volume on 8 with Netflix but 20 for the bluray.

suppose it could be my setup but i doubt it

some blurays totally destroy the streaming audio. this is not one of them

Logged onto Target's website yesterday at 7am to try and get this for store pick up, no one in the NYC area had it in stock. So I ordered it online, should arrive by Thursday. Better late than never, but did this really sell out locally that fast or was their inventory just messed up?

I think their inventory was fucked up, because it's showing in stock at most of the local stores now.

I'm about half way through season 2. It's definitely much more of a slow burn unlike season 1. It really starts to pick up 4 episodes in.
