On closer inspection, I think that's a comfy blanket.

Got the DVR set. Saw the ad for it while watching something on Starz recently.

Later that day they did a panel and a Q&A session and showed the episode to those who got in. I wasn't able to attend unfortunately but it's written up here for anyone interested:

And that's it. It was impressive how genuinely friendly everyone was. Raimi actually stopped to talk to me for a bit, which I definitely geeked out over, but everyone was very gracious and appreciative of the turn out and the response from the fans. Kind of a cool opportunity and I got to leave with this...

Anyway, on your way into the trailer after standing in line there was a PR rep there with a big bag of tickets. Each person got to put their hand in the bag and pull out a ticket - on that ticket was your prize. You could win a button, a t-shirt, or a 'foam finger chainsaw' or you could win a pass to the autograph signing that was happening Saturday morning with Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, Jill Marie Jones and showrunner Craig Digregorio.

I was lucky enough to get one of the passes.

Pretty rad. So the next morning I went back to the con and stood in line again. You weren't supposed to take picture but everyone else was so I did too. You weren't allowed to bust your camera out as you got closer to the signing table though.

At any rate, some pictures from the signing...

Lots of neat little details here - some of the cupboards rattled and shook and made 'deadite' noises when you got to close to them, and of course, the chainsaw is hanging on the wall.

Ash Vs. The Evil Dead At NYCC 2015

Ok, so at the New York Comic Con this weekend, Staz had a big promotional thing going on to hype the debut of Ash Verus The Evil Dead later this month. It was kind of neat the way they did it - they setup a life size replica of 'Ash's Trailer' outside on the inner road way. Basically you got to stand in line for the chance to wander through.... a trailer. But it was still fun. Some pictures from that.
