Told you we shouldn't let the professionals join the thread......and, more importantly, we shouldn't let people who have a far more interesting life join the thread either.....makes me depressed!

Went out on Sunday with the kids and watched part of an amateur football match taking place in the playing fields near our house. Luckily I had my DSLR with me and took a few shots. This is my fave:

Cell phone pics from my walk at lunch break today. Wrestling flyers and sad shoes live on the mean streets of Brooklyn.

Was in Manchester the other night killing time while my eldest was at a Bastille gig (no idea who they are, I just dropped her and her mates off without asking any questions)

And a couple of pics from the ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE gig I went to last week...

                  Nice one!

I took this one the other day: it's a group of bait diggers on my local beach. I think it works nicely.

I was quite pleased with this image, which I took 'from the hip' as I walked past a studio in which a live debate was being recorded for a local television station. I liked the way the three guests had similar - but different - body language (the folded hands, with the guest on the end's bowed head reminding me of a prisoner waiting to be executed) and the juxtaposition with the distorted body shape of the figure on the right.

Yup but they also give a nice pop art vibe to a shot that already feels a bit '60s. Dual purpose dots.
