Most Misrepresentative Movie Posters Ever!

I dunno if this technically counts as photography or not but figured it would fit here well, just cause.

So yeah, sometimes movie posters represent the movie perfectly. Other times they do not. Let's focus on the not.

Case in point? The Turkish poster for Peckinpah's Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia (I'm proud to own one of these, wish I had the wall space to display it!).

Holy crap, that IS a misrepresentation of the film.

Plus, the dude standing over the decapitated body looks NOTHING like Warren Oates. Or Kris Kristofferson.

False advertising. Just sayin'.

My fave one of these is the american VHS release of the Anime NAUSSICA OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND (released as "Warriors of The Wind"). It literally looks as if the illustrator never saw the movie, as NONE of those characters looks remotely like any characters in the film, aside for the girl in the blue dress on the rocket glider thing, which looks kinda like the lead character, but her glider looks nothing like that.

Also "A band of young warriors"??? There is no band of young warriors in this. There is no pegasus. There is no robot skeleton in a cloak. It's all total bullshit.
