  • QOTSA does QOTSA

Just saw that Queens of the Stone Age are touring, playing their first album in its entirety (which also gets a remastered rerelease in March). I'm not sure how I feel about this. Playing entire albums seems like something a band does at the end of its career, but Queens keep putting out great stuff so why limit the show to one album.

Tickets are cheap so I may still go, BUT I WON'T LIKE IT!!!

Well, I would like it 'cuz its a great album regardless, but still...

I saw Slayer play Reign in Blood from front to back and it was super evil.

Did they drench themselves in blood at the end, like on the DVD?

I saw them live when their first album came out. They played the entire thing because that's all the songs they had. New bands do this all the time.

No, and I was kinda pissed about that actually. They did use all the psuedo-Nazi imagery from that era though.

I would like it if The Beastie Boys did all of Paul's Boutique, actually. With pseudo-Nazi imagery.

I think they already did that. Just before MCA died.
