Tickets to see him play before the NYC screening start at $100.00. So I'll pass.

Well, you'd normally pay more than 10 to see a movie, so really, it's an 80+ dollar concert ticket. :D

LOL I saw Patti Smith play before her documentary in New York for $15!

I guess you're paying for his First-Class airfare!!

NC & TBS played here the other night.

This concert was about 10 years too late for me so I didn't go.
However, after reading reviews that is was quite dramatic I'm now regretting it a little.

Yeah, I missed Nick Cave the other night too. Would have loved to have seen him, but the ticket prices, travel costs, etc made it an expenditure that was more than I wanted to spend right now. Got a wedding to pay for!

Instead, I went to the local casino and watched "Nearly Neil", a Neil Diamond impersonator with my future in-laws and my fiancée. A good time was had by all, and Nearly Neil was pretty awesome! Not Nick a Cave awesome, but still. :)

He still absolutely kills it live and if you catch him on an off night, Ellis is amazing to watch too, so you're more or less guaranteed not to wind up at a lousy Bad Seeds show. I might go to the Brooklyn show later this month, it's cheaper than the 'intimate' performance and honestly I'd rather see him with the full band than doing the singer/songwriter thing behind the piano (though he does that very well).
