I haven't listened to new Alice Cooper for a long time but that Paranormal track embedded in the last page is alright and The Sound Of A sounds like a lost track from the 70s. Top stuff. Are these exceptions or should I go on a deep dive?

My mum was a huge Alice Cooper fan so I grew up with his music in the background. Particularly the 80s albums. I saw him live about 6 or so years ago. It was at a casino where it's all tiered table seating and waitresses bringing drinks to your table. Great place to watch a burlesque show but it felt weird for a metal act. it was a decent show, though Alice was showing his age. His young band carried him through large parts of the set.

Found another longer clip, sounds good so I've ordered the CD/BD. Thankfully I don't do vinyl. Hated it the first time around, and now it's all about pretty discs and crap pressings, I hate it even more. But yeah, putting the blu only with the CD is odd.

The Sound of A is an anomaly unfortunately. I don't hate his recent stuff, and it's cool that he still does new music, but I just find it rather uninspired. But my inner teen still likes to rock out to Raise Your Fist and Yell!

Just watched the Astroturf Blu. Nice to see Vince on stage giving some banter rather than Alice. Don't know about the vinyl, but the CD/BD is limited to 17,000 (crudely hand numbered) if you're on the fence. The set may be short, but it's fun.
