  • The Clash - London Calling

The sequence from "Lost in the Supermarket" to "Death or Glory" is still one of my favourite run of songs ever. The album is a bit messy, but that 5-song sequence is incredible. And "Revolution Rock" is just fucking glorious.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

I went on a huge Sparks kick about 2 months ago, no regrets.

And Matt, I completely agree about London Calling.

I always forget about the track Death or Glory because I tend to either play the entire first album or my 2 disc Essential Clash set; I rarely listen to London Calling on it's own.

                        • After playing my daily - and extremely important to my well being - Japanese female pop, I decided to check out a couple videos by The Kings of Thrash. Yes, I used to be a big Megadeth fan back in the day. I have the original version of "Killing is My Business...and Business is Good!" on cassette tape. I bought the reissue with the 'beep' version of "These Boots", which I can't listen to either. I never got "The Final Kill" version of the CD. Is that any good? Well, here's the original 'illegal' version of "These Boots".

I'm also working my way through this nearly 3 hour video of SPIRAL MUSIC's 10th Anniversary. It seems like every current SPIRAL group is getting 15 minutes to sing, starting with the younger groups. I like everything so far.

                          • Huh, apparently I had the early cassette. Wasn't even aware of the bleeped version.

                            • Started off my day with some of Frank Black’s Cult Of Ray, then just put on the new Pixies album Doggerel.
