                  That's the best one.

That said, Risin' Outlaw has some really good songwriting on it but it's produced kinda like a pop country album, it was a much more commercial endeavor.

Lovesick, Broke & Driftin' is really strong, he's very much channeling his grandfather on this one and I like it a lot.

The material that comes after Straight To Hell is uneven but some of it is really good. Damn Right Rebel Proud is kinda meh but Rebel Within works as a decent companion piece to Straight To Hell.

3 Bar Ranch Cattle Callin' is a fucking weird album that mixes speed metal and auctioneering (I'm not kidding). It didn't work for me.

Ghost To A Ghost - Guttertown is a double album that's about half good and worth exploring as there are some gems on it.

Brothers of The 4 x 4 and A Friendish Threat are solid enough country/metal/punkabilly albums.

                    • Listening to a seven dollar record. $7 dollars in 1908 that is. Roughly $200 plus today for single sided disc playing just over 4 minutes.

(Below French singers enact the above recording. Filmed in 1908)

                        • Checking out the lossless versions of some of my favourites today on Apple Music, and man, some of them sound INSANE.

                          Massive Attack- Mezzanine, Protection, Heligoland

                          Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells

Vangelis - Blade Runner (I wish there was a version without the movie dialog samples, but at least there is an official release)
