So, a few weeks ago I was in a charity shop and found the soundtrack LP for the 1984 Nico Mastorakis film 'Blind Date' (which I've never seen).
I figured there was a good chance it might contain some of that good ol' synth-y / yacht rock-y business often featured in genre films of that era, so took a chance on it.... only to realise once I got it home that 8 of the 10 featured tracks are actually songs performed by 60s/70s South African MOR pop star John Kongos.
Long story short: they're absolutely terrible.
The two remaining Stanley Myers tracks are quite nice suspense movie music, but.... oh well, you live and learn. Back to a different charity shop ASAP for this one.
