I've never cottoned much to ol Waylon's music, but I do enjoy his really early stuff.

I dig most of it up until 1980 rolls around, at which point it gets really uneven and as the 80s progress, not good, but there's some serious gold in those sixties and seventies albums.

I used to constantly listen to the double-disc Waylon Live CD that was re-released in the early 00's, but I'm fairly sure one of my old roommates permanently "borrowed" it. Haven't got around to replacing it yet, but I still spin Lonesome On'ry & Mean and Honkytonk Heroes on the reg.

Funny because my buddy pretty much consumed a steady diet of black metal back then, so I felt good adding a little heart & soul to his musical diet.
