I haven't spun a Pogues album in some time so this morning I'm making up for that.

Youth Brigade - To Sell The Truth.

Not their best album, but still pretty decent. I like to sing along to Spies For Life.

Frank Black & the Catholics' first. Still just as good as it was, what, 12 years ago now?

Longer than that, I think. That came out when I was in high school.

I'm not sure if I like this album or not.

my wife got into them a few years ago. We went to see them in Boston at the Orpheum and I got her right up front. Mainly because it was all teenage girls at the show and they weren't taller then me. So I was this guy in his mid-30s leaning on the stage staring up and the singer all night. she wanted me. And why not, no other guys at the show. Absolute veal cutlet fest. And after the show, I walked right up on stage and took a drumstick for my wife, cuz she's worth it. And who was going to stop me? THE DONNNAS???!! No. I don't think so.

That's a good story. I saw them open for The Hives three years ago. They put on a good show.
