Any county fair I've ever been to has been lame. No Devo, no karate kids, just farm animals and dumb people. One time I got some good corn on the cob though, so that was pretty rad.

The guy at the pizza place was having a nervous breakdown. There were no pizza slices on display and nobody working said shit about what was what, so it was just a line of customers not quite sure what to do. The pizza man finally pulled a pepperoni pie out of the oven and asked if anyone was waiting for a slice. I assumed he was asking people who may have already paid so I kept mum, as did the guy in front of me. Pizza man, looking irritated, then goes over to the soda fountain to take drink orders and the guy in front of me asks for a slice of pepperoni. Pizza man loses it. "That's what I just asked! Did you want a slice of pepperoni!?! I just asked that!" When I got up there the dude's chin was quivering.

I was worried that he was going to yell at Mothersbaugh.
