They put out an album a few years ago called Ducefixion, haha. I think some guy from a Mentors tribute band does vocals now. Now idea how they'd be live, but I'd be curious to know.

The Mentors are playing in Spokane on Dec. 27. To the best of my knowledge this is the band's first visit to our fair city. My friends and I used to joke that they always seemed to schedule dates in Seattle around Christmas and that Eldon must be travelling home for the holidays to visit his mom.

Has anyone seen the band lately? Were this, oh, say, 1986 or so, I would be falling over myself to make sure I didn't miss them. Nowadays...not so much. With El Duce long gone, I'm not even sure who's in the band any more.

Street Dogs this coming Sat. at Asbury Lanes in NJ.

I like the idea of seeing them play in a bowling alley.

The Dwarves are playing in the UK next week. 90 mile drive - the wife and I are flat broke. Fucksticks.

Make sure to bring cash, 'cause I don't think The Blue Oyster accepts plastic.

HDM told me that Andy just isn't interested in doing Dictators stuff as a band anymore. Which is a shame.

And coming to Canada and being billed as "of the Dictators" and playing Dictators tracks and telling stories of being on the road with the Dictators. Must suck to hate the Dictators and wash your hands of them and then make your living off of them.

And yet he's playing acoustic shows all over NYC doing loads of Dictators tracks at those performances.

Hell yes! Saw a different angle video of the same performance and sorely wished I was there. MACE IS KING OF MEN.

But Shernoff's pissed me off by washing his hands of ever playing with the Dictators again.

No worries, Ben, I figured you'd be swamped. I'm still sad I waited on tickets for that.
