I was supposed to go see my friend's band open for Murphy's Law on Sat. but got tired because I'm old. So I didn't go even though I should have.

I just got tickets for Poison Idea in Brooklyn on 8/31. It's a 3pm matinee show, so I will still probably be awake when they go on stage.

Nope, and for the same reason that you list. That happens to me all the time now. I say, "Oh, show coming up," then the day comes and I bail. Oh well. PI is coming here, too, but I'll likely miss that as well.

Me and the wife saw SOULS OF MISCHIEF in Tempe last Wednesday. They did their whole '93 TO INFINITY album. It was great. Tears down my face great. We didn't get home until 1am. Work Thursday at 6:30 am. I am to old for this shit. It was fun though but I feel like I'm still tired. We shared one drink. It stormed on the way home.

It was totally worth it.
