No kidding. You, more than most, probably remember how huge this band was for me in my high school and college years. Remember my home made two-tone print on my green Chucks? haha.

Sure do. And despite my disdain for most ska-stuff, I do own the first Specials record and have seen them live and they were good.

It was the only ska record I owned in the late 70's too...sold it long ago though.
I thought they were great on SNL back then.
Madness and the like were never punk enough for me.

Was it SNL or Fridays that had THE CLASH's Joe spitting all over because of his rotting teeth?
I also remember one show being disappointing cause THE CLASH had only sent the London Calling video.

I miss those years.
