I broke down and picked up the vinyl version of 13 this week. Word on the street is that the vinyl release is less brickwalled than the digital versions so I went for it. I haven't A/B'd it against the CD yet, but the vinyl does sound sweet.

I have it on digital too but have since regretted that and will probably get the vinyl as well.

Well this is certainty interesting, TONY IOMMI Wants To Record New Music With Ex-BLACK SABBATH Singer TONY MARTIN.
What really stood out was the mention of Headless Cross and Tyr getting re-issued and the possible plans of Cross Purposes and Forbidden getting re-released. I've not looked recently, but for the longest time some of the Martin era albums were difficult to find without emptying your entire wallet. Lucky to have found all mine in the shops.
I'm all for new Iommi/Martin material. His albums with Sabbath are really good, in fact I'd go so far as to say Cross Purposes is one of my favorite Sabbath albums regardless of era. I'll even stick up for Forbidden!

'THE HOUND OF BASKERVILLE': GERMAN POP DUO COVER SABBATH'S 'PARANOID' AS A SHERLOCK HOLMES TRIBUTE
There's something strange about this clip, however. A commenter on a German-language forum thread about the show insists that the clip actually mixes together footage from 2 different appearances, wth the people actually dancing to “Indian Giver†by the 1910 Fruitgum Company. It's probably funnier this way, honestly.

BLACK SABBATH Guitarist TONY IOMMI Says His Cancer Is In Remission
Tony Iommi has revealed that his cancer is finally in remission.
The legendary BLACK SABBATH guitarist confirmed the news as he unveiled a plaque at the hospital where he has been receiving treatment for his illness.
"I came back to hospital straight after we finished a round of European tour dates, and the good news is that everything is alright up to this point," he told the Birmingham Mail while unveiling the Macmillan Quality Care plaque at Solihull, England's Spire Parkway Hospital.
"I am in remission and hopefully, this situation will continue.

I listen more to Sabbath now than even when I was a teenager. Recently bought Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Master of Reality and Vol. 4 on CD for the car, and except for Judas Priest's Painkiller they've been the only records on rotation for the last couple of months.
