    "It was recently revealed that The Jesus and Mary Chain would release their first album since the '90s in March 2017 via Warner Music, and now more details are here. It'll be called Damage and Joy, and it drops on March 24. It was produced by Youth (aka Martin Glover of Killing Joke and The Fireman), who also played bass, and there are also contributions from JAMC touring drummer Brian Young and Lush bassist Phil King (who has toured as part of JAMC in the past). They're premiering the lead single “Amputation” on Steve Lamacq's BBC 6 radio show today at 4 PM."

      Yeah, I hear ya. Their old stuff really does hold up though. Everything up to Stoned & Dethroned I really like. After that...

        Stoned and Dethroned is the last one that I bought, but I heard the ones after that and meh...despite fans telling me that Munki was really good. I disagreed.

                      Out today, checking it out on Spotify now. Gonna need to give this a few spins, preferably outside of a work environment, to really give it a fair shot.

                        I was lukewarm on that first song that I heard, because I'm not big on constant feedback oscillation...sorry, controlled constant feedback oscillation...but I was also listening to it on cellphone speakers, so I'll give it a shot at home.
