        • Bauhaus-The Bela Session.

Nice new official release with Bela Lugosi's Dead on side one, and 3-4 tracks on the other side. Comes with a big-ass folded gig poster that's quite nice, and of course it's on crimson marbled vinyl. Early birthday present for me.

              • Hit a few record stores in Brooklyn with a friend today.

                I grabbed...

T-Rex Greatest Hits (a weird German compilation I'd never seen before)
Curtis Mayfield - Back To The World (an OG press in perfect shape)
Venus And The Razorblades - Songs From The Sunshine Jungle (was drawn in by the cover art, played it at the listening station and grabbed it - good Runaways style proto-punk/glam)

And for $3... I grabbed this!

                            • Anytime I head back to Muskoka to see my parents I stop at Currei's Music in Gravenhurst and buy oddball country records.

                              This year I got:

Hal Willis - Mr. Lumberjack Vol. 2
Billy Smith & The Country Emotions - Album No. 2
Loretta Lynn - On The Road With Loretta & The Coal Miners
Lee Moore - Plays & Sings The Cat Came Back And Other Favorites

And Tolch was good enough to gift me a signed copy of Holy Shiite by the Dayglo Abortions, which is super rad.

                              • When signed Dayglo records are worth a fortune, you'll have a hell of a time getting that authenticated haha. Can't believe he signed it in that corner.
