Aye. The show this past Friday didn't compare to the show last fall where he put on one of the best shows I've ever seen, though.

Didn't you buy some stuff when I was over there? I don't see that posted, Money Honey.

                A ton:

THIN LIZZY - Jailbreak SE - Jeez they could rock nicely but boy they wrote fuckn shmaltz 'romeo and the loney girl'? 'running back' , geez the sound of diarrhea spluttering from my arse sounds better!. Part of the reason I laugh at hard rock half the time and have little time for metal, except the odd 'masterwork'.
DAMNED, DAMNED, DAMNED SE - great album, geez they could play. Makes me realise how much the Englerlisch punque bands were influece by the mighty Saints, especially the Damned.
QUEEN - Sheer heart attack SE - fuckn great, great hard rock album. Jimi Hendrix influenced most English hard rock AFAIC.

Choking Victim - Rock Rock Steady/Squatta's Paradise Split

I hit Record Store Day this morning and snagged some vinyl:

OFF!- Live at Generation Records 7"
Red Crayola- Hurricane Fighter Plane (Sonic Boom Mix) b/w Pink Stainles Tail 7" on yellow wax
Black Angels- Another Nice Pair 12" on red wax

I also wanted the two Grinderman 12"ers but they were already sold out.

I got one of the Grinderman releases but missed out on the OFF! singles. They're playing here in a week, tho', so here's to hoping their merch is up to snuff.

I picked up one of the Kozik figures, turns out I got the one you get a 1/10 chance of getting. He's badass - he'll nicely accompany the 12" Dio picture disc for "Killing the Dragon" I also picked up today...

I didn't get to do any record store stuff yesterday - I pretty much spaced on it. I was gonna go to Generation as they had a bunch of events lined up, but it didn't happen.

They had plenty when I saw them last month. If they don't have any though, let me know, because apparantly Generation Records is getting more in stock (potentially as an exclusive) and I could grab one for you.

Cool, thanks. I'm betting that Generation was a pretty serious zoo on Record Store Day, tho', so you probably didn't miss much.
