Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

      • New Pig Destroyer- easily their most accessible and repeat-listenable since Phantom Limb. A+ riffs galore for the first couple songs and then primo soundscapes for the last couple. Best 2020 release for me.

Also picked up some stuff from Dusty Groove: Robin Williams- Reality...What a Concept lp (unfortunately very dated...duh...but I still liked it, although my 18 yo daughter who loves Robin Williams found it completely unfunny except for the Mr. Rogers bit); a Hawaiian slack key guitar 78rpm that is 99 years old (the vinyl is very heavy and the grooves are much bigger); Lindi Ortega- Liberty (not quite as good as some of her earlier stuff but she is still the best retro-country singer in my book); Zeppelin- In Through the Out Door (I've really grown to like this over the years, esp. the guitar solo in 'In the Evening' that sounds like someone breaking into your house); and some cheap cds from Bombay Disco to Hello, a German power pop band from the late '70s with some fun tunes for $1.99 with about the same level of inappropriateness as their compatriots the Scorpions.

                              EDIT:

Wen't on an impulsive drunken spending spree yesterday and got these:

Opaque cherry red vinyl. Not my favorite MF album (that's still Don't Break The Oath) but it's up there.

                              Edit 2:

Got these two on vinyl as well while I'm at it. Had no idea Don't Break The Oath had been re-released.

                              • Slade - B-sides.

This isn't available on vinyl or to stream anywhere so CD it is, cause I've gotta have it.

Nice booklet of liner notes comes with it, it's a nice set.
