Not nearly as good as Return to the 36 Chambers, but there are some fuckin' great tracks on it. I Want Pussy and You Don't Want To Fuck With Me are my faves.
WASP - ST
WASP - The Last Command
Old Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36th Chamber Special Edition (and I should try to use that food stamps card, you're right Paul!)
Elvis Presley - Legacy Edition
Elvis Is Back - Legacy Edition
Elvis Country - Legacy Edition
The Clash - Sandinista
Inhuman - The New Nightmare
Inhuman - Evolver
The Damned - I'm Alright Jack And The Beanstalk
Jesus Lizard - Liar
Jesus Lizard - ST EP
Jesus Lizard - Show
Jesus Lizard - Bang
Jesus Lizard - Head/Pure
Joey Shithead And His Band of Rebels
Butthole Surfers - Pioughd
Sex Pistols - Pretty Vacant
Vibrators - Pure Mania
No Redeeming Social Value - 40oz Of Hardcore
Supersuckers - 20th Anniversary Show 2 Disc Set
Misfits - Walk Among Us. I used to own this but I lend it to someone back in high school and never got it back. Taught me to never lend anything to anyone. You never get it back or it comes back with scratches!
Scum - Gospels For The Sick
Bouncing Souls - The Good, The Bad & The Argyle
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Collection
Damned - Best Of The Damned (it was cheap)
Some albums I picked up this month (all LP:s):
MIRANDA SEX GARDEN - Madra (yes, i'm a closet-goth)
FARLEY FUNKIN' KEITH - Funkin With The Drums 12" (great old school chicago house bleeps and bloops)
MR. FINGERS - Classic Fingers (one of the real masters of classic deep house, Larry Heard's a genius!)
ACTIVE CHILD - You Are All I See (one of the best bands in recent years)
SHELLEYAN ORPHAN - Helleborine (just beautiful 80s indie pop for fans of Cocteu Twins, english poetry and The Wicker Man)
VON GOAT - Septic Illumination (when I heard that classic US black/death metal band had reformed I knew I had to buy their album)
SIXX - Sister Devil (goth with a black metal feel from the guys from Von... not really what I expected but it has started to grow on me)
NORTHERN LIGHTS - Vancouver Dreaming (sunshine pop in the same vain as The Free Design and similar bands... as usual there's some great cuts and some pretty bland ones)
BURIAL - Street Halo 12" (best track of 2011!)
FRIEDRICH GULDA - As You Like It (fantastic classical-pianist turned jazz-pianist! He does "Light My Fire" way better than The Doors!)
TIM HECKER - Ravedeath, 1972 (marvelous ambient/drones)
POCKETS - So Delicious (had some fine disco/soul tunes but on the whole not so memorable)
AGNETA Fí„LTSKOG (of ABBA fame) - Wrap Your Arms Around Me (don't laugh! The title track is wonderful, sexy euro-pop and I only payed roughly 1$ for it anyway)
THE CRAMPS - SONGS THE LORD TAUGHT US (EMI CD with bonus tracks)
CHRIS ISAAK - BEYOND THE SUN (2 Disc edition)
BEASTIE BOYS - CHECK YOUR HEAD (180-Gram vinyl)
BEASTIE BOYS - PAUL'S BOUTIQUE (180 Gram vinyl)
and got IGGY POP - ROADKILL RISING from a buddy as an early birthday gift. :-) Good weekend for tunes.
