I got the brand new, 41 year old Neil Young album, Hitchhiker on CD. It contains a gigantic lyric sheet, which, once unfolded, is almost impossible to fold back to its original shape. From wikipedia: The songs on the album were recorded in a single night. In his memoir Special Deluxe, Young described the session, "It was a complete piece, although I was pretty stony on it, and you can hear it in my performances... I laid down all the songs in a row, pausing only for weed, beer, or coke. (David)Briggs was in the control room, mixing live on his favorite console."

Picked up a nice lavish book The Photographs Of Charles Duvelle - Disques OCORA And Collection PROPHET put out by the Sublime Frequencies label. It includes two CDs of field recordings compiled by Duvelle exclusively for this book. Duvelle is an ethnomusicologist who founded the French world music label Ocora in the late 1950s alongside music concrete developer Pierre Schaeffer.

Been finding lots of cheap CDs at Family Dollar, usually 3 to 7 bucks each. Last 4 I grabbed.
Janis Joplin-Best of...Decent but too many live versions of songs.
Ramones-Ramonesmania....5th time I have owned this. Lost my last copy yeArs back and this was 3 bucks new.
Movie Luv soundtrack collection-thrift store find for 25 cents. Grabbed it for that 5000 Miles song, gangstas paradise and Stay by Lisa Loeb.
Huey Lewis and the news-Greatest hits...Was 5 bucks and had a decent selection of songs.
