Grim Reaper - See You In Hell
Rick Springfield - Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet
Rainbow - Difficult To Cure
Fat Boys - Big & Beautiful
Ted Nugent - Scream Dream
I finally got myself a vinyl player. Might as well get some good records to go with it. Mediolanum Capta Est is the best live-recording I've ever heard. Fantastic performance!!! Deathhammer is a true gem as well.
Waylon Jennings - That's The Way It Is
Willie Nelson - Always On My Mind
The Meatmen - We're The Meatmen And You Suck
COC - An Eye For An Eye (weird bootleg pressing)
I bought that album from Musicland in the early 80s. I really like some of that, and the singer (what was her name...Fabien Shine or something like that) is cool too. Ross!
You're buying a lot of the albums I was getting back then, actually. Nuge, Rainbow, etc. I ain't a big Joe Lynn Turner fan but "I Surrender" is crazy catchy.

It's a good one. I'd heard of it but never heard it before and when I saw it mint for $3.99? A no brainer.

The Nuge and Rainbow stuff? Yeah, if I can get it cheap, I'll grab it. It's weird, sometimes you can find that stuff in bargain bins - I paid $1 each for that stuff - but at the record fairs the prices are usually jacked up. You've just got to look around for it. The print runs on all the stuff that was done by the majors around that time is reasonably high, no need to pay through the nose for it when it's common enough.
The first real concert I went to was Ted Nugent on the Scream Dream tour in Jacksonville, Florida. Def Leppard, touring On Through The Night and Scorpions for Animal Magnetism were the openers. Nuge was good but LOUD, but I was really excited for Scorps and Leppard - who were part of the NWOBHM at that time and not pop metal - Pete Willis was still in DL then, he appeared to be about 4 feet tall, haha.
From two recent trips to End of An Ear, down the street...
