Spent the afternoon spinning records I got over the last week or so:
Miriam Linna - new 45, outstanding!
Miriam & Sam Elwitt - New entry in the Norton Stones series - great stuff too.
The Fleshtones & Los Straitjackets - another new 45 in the Stones series, top notch covers.
The Gories - new 45 is awesome! But strange hearing them recorded a bit more cleanly... Sort of.
The Delusionaires - a couple of 45s and their lp. Trashy throwback tittyshakers. Nuff said.
And then a bunch of other Norton 45s that were saved from Hurriance Sandy.
Oh yeah -- also spun the Blues Fix 10" from The Cramps. Kills the old cd. Bolder sound, sounds more analog and powerful.

My cousin sat down and ripped all of her CDs. And was giving the actual discs away. Dug thru the huge box and grabbed a few.
But the one stand out is Tight Money Grippas. Which seem to be some late 90s MS gulf coast based Rap group. Imagine 8th rate NWA mixed with Bone Thugs. I am gonna have to upload at least a song so others can hear how great this is.
Cleared out some more old stuff today and got some new stuff
