I can't stand the Pet Shop Boys but Erasure did do a pretty good job with the Abba stuff.

Celtic Frost's cover of Mexican Radio is not a rad cover. It's a bad cover.

        Sepultura's cover of "Mongoloid" stinks.

Pulp's cover of Whiskey In The Jar is pretty good once you get used to it. It's better than Metallica's.

Overkill's cover of "Sonic Reducer" is sonic pee doo-doo.

I love Overkill but their cover album wasn't very good.

Neither was Guns N Roses' cover album.

Anthrax's cover of Joe Jackson's "Got the Time" is pretty excellent.
Melvins - Going Blind is good, too.

QOTSA doing The Kinks' Everybody's Gonna Be Happy.

Everything off of The Dirtbomb's Ultra Glide In Black album.

The Cramps do Surfin' Bird better than The Trashmen or Peter Griffin.

Overkill's cover of Fast Taker is pretty good but it's no Manowar. No one else is Manowar but Manowar.

Speaking of cover LPs, Bowie's "Pin Ups" improves on most of the originals!

Hey- Kiss's "Any Way You Want It" is sheer bone-headed brilliance.

Kyuss does a good cover of Black Sabbath's "Into the Void".

Greg Brady Salad does a great Germaine Stewart cover.

Pantara doing Sabbath's "Electric Funeral is good. Although it sounds pretty much the same until the cool ending.

The Jam's cover of the Kinks' David Watts is pretty outstanding as is their cover of Wilson Pickett's In the Midnight Hour.

I just heard The Smithereens' cover of The Who's The Seeker. Hard to believe the Smithereens were a really good band once...

The last one had some good tracks. The version of Common People with Joe Jackson is fuckin' great.

I expected to hate it but have to agree. Way better than it had any right to be.
