I don't really care that the AVP characters now to get mix it up with the Marvel characters, but I will say that David Finch's art in this link looks pretty damn good.

That art does look good. I wonder where this leaves the Brood?

I knew it would happen. Glad I nabbed that hardcover of the original B&W Aliens comics.

I hope they don't do anything stupid to the DAVID character. His character development & deranged psychology are my far my favorite things to emerge from PROMETHEUS/COVENANT.

Such a waste, apparently that Sigourney Weaver basket was real but because the ball passes out of frame you assume it's fake.

Looks like the Omnibus cover mentioned above has a plagiarism problem in terms of its cover art!

Marvel has a history of tracing and stealing for the last few years.

This Bleeding Cool article does a pretty good job of breaking all of this down. Looks like Land has a history of swiping from photo references but this is taking someone else's illustrated work.

Marvel to begin publishing new Aliens comics in March 2021.

                          https://www.marvel.com/articles/comi...omics-in-march

Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson (EMPYRE: CAPTAIN AMERICA) with art by Salvador Larroca (DOCTOR DOOM), ALIEN #1 will be a thrilling addition to the incredible legacy that began with the groundbreaking 1979 film. Featuring both new and classic characters from Earth and beyond, this bold take on the Alien mythology will entertain both longtime fans and newcomers to the legendary horror/science-fiction saga.

The new story will feature a Weyland-Yutani mercenary named Gabriel Cruz as he battles a deadly new breed of xenomorph with the survival of his child hanging in the balance. No stranger to infusing horror with the classic Marvel storytelling, Phillip Kennedy Johnson most recently shocked readers in the terrifying MARVEL ZOMBIES: RESURRECTION series.

It's going to be weird seeing new Alien comics with the title being "Alien" instead of "Aliens."

I grabbed a few of the variant covers that Marvel put out recently and noticed the Alien instead of Aliens text.
