Yeah, sadly that's what's happened with Wrightson, his newer stuff is still great, but not on par with his 70s output.

I got the Corben Creepy/Eerie collection from Dark Horse yesterday from my mother in law. Pretty rad gift. At any rate, that thing is huge. Over 300 pages, thick glossy stock, it's heavy enough that if you hit someone over the head with it you could probably kill them. At any rate, it collects a large majority of the work he did for Warren. It'd be cool though if they did a second volume that collected the bits and pieces he did that appeared outside of Creepy and Eerie, like the 1984 stories. I had read most of the stuff in the book when I had all the single issues years back but after selling those off before I moved it was cool to go back and revist them. Plus the hardcover looks nice on my shelf next to the Wrightson volume.Rock! Shock! Pop!

A new Poe 'hybrid' comic in the works from Corben.
"Now, Dark Horse is publishing Corben's latest Poe adaptation, which he both draws and writes. "The Conqueror Worm" one-shot and "The Fall of the House of Usher" #1 & #2 are available now, with Corben's adaptation of "The Raven" and "The Masque of the Red Death" -- combined under the title "The Raven and The Red Death" -- releasing on October 30, the day before Halloween. This isn't the first time Corben has drawn "The Raven" or "Oval Portrait," having illustrated the tales in 1974's "Creepy" #67 and 1975's #69, respectively, both stories adapted by writer Rich Margopoulos."Rock!
