    Incredibly sad to hear this.

I've been out of touch with the comics world in recent years, but back when I was more engaged, O'Neill was pretty much top of the list of my favourite artists.

His work on 'Marshal Law', 'League of Extraordinary Gentlemen' and the especially awesome 'Death Race 2020' mini-series all totally blew my mind back in the day... his stuff has a scratchy, subversive, out-of-control quality which is *exactly* what I want to see in a comic book.

    RIP.

One of the greatest Batman stories of all time!

As a kid at the arse end of the seventies when 2000 AD first came out, I grew up with his art years before I knew who he was. Love his work on LXG.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

Man I loved his stuff. Marshall Law was great. And LoEG was nice art but I didn't care for the story.
