One of the coolest comic book artists of all time, Jean Girard (better known as Mobius) passed away.

His two issue Silver Surfer mini series still remains one of the coolest comic books I've ever read and he also did a lot of the production artwork on Alien, Tron, 5th Element and loads more. Dude helped start the original French Metal Hurlant comic (which inspired Heavy Metal).

Dude was just awesome. Very sad news.

Yeah his Silver Surfer mini-series was way cool. 73 isn't old enough. Was he still publishing stuff in the last few years?

I'm not sure how recent it was but I know in his later years he did a lot of work with Jodorowsky.
