Congrats on issue #25 & the fact that this mag is still going strong. I never bought a copy but I do fondly remember during my lunch breaks, I would browse through the current copy they had in stock at my local Tower records before it went belly up. Of course, it was filled with all kinds of juicy sleaze & I enjoyed perusing all the sordid tales but I recall one story haunted me for a while -- it involved a first hand account of some John looking for cheap date in the backstreets of Vancouver's seedy east side & he had a particular fondness for one meth addicted ho' who would allow him to go bareback & even cum in her ass. I long wondered what happened to the both of 'em? I always imagined the whore ended up at the wrong end of Pickton's pig farm & the dude met his untimely end laying in some hospice dying with kaposis sarcoma.

Ah yeah, that was a submission sent in from a reader named Gerry or Jerry I think. I only got one other letter from that guy not long after, and I never heard from him again. Frankly It was pretty grim, and also kind of off-topic for a movie magazine so I never reprinted it in the book collections. Not to be rude, but the guy honestly didn't really seem like a nice person. Of course, he'll probably see this now and come and beat me up.

I get a lot of really fascinating letters and emails from readers. There is just something about the mag that makes people open up and talk, it seems like. It's great!

Ah I see...well, I sincerely hope he doesn't show up to beat you up on my account of dredging up an old reader submission. Not sure why that story stuck with me but maybe it was the cheap polaroids that were included with the story of that malnourished drug addled prostitute bending over & gaping her rectum with that petulant smile on her face.

I interviewed Robin for my Examiner page shortly after this issue was released. Here's the link, if anyone cares to read. Thanks!
