Offical handbook of the Conan Universe-No clue this is Marvel published,b/w but formatted like the Marvel Handbooks. No idicia I can find so no clue on the yeaer. No cover price. Just odd. But hey Conan for a buck.

Comics Interview #52 was the first issue of that i ever saw. Was a mall show and some dealer had it in their 4 books for a buck bin. Had to be 89 or 90 by then.

Got a decent bargin but wondering about the legallity of it.

Newer POD publisher Mini Komix had a 100 page colllection of Atlas/Seaboard Devilina stuff. 10 bucks shipped. Got it today and it is an odd size. Like smaller than a normal US TPB but bigger than a digest.

B/w interiors and not sure if it is everything. But looking at Mini Komix website they got collections of Trashman and other UG stuff I was sure were owned by the creators,mixed in with the normal POD collections of PD stuff.

When DC bought the Captain Marvel characters, they never bought the rights to the previous issues so the copyrights were never renewed. The result is that anybody can reprint the old Fawcett issues. Same is true for Plastic Man, Blackhawk, etc..

Some of the Fawcett Copyrights got renewed. Back when that first Shazam movie was coming out DC was contacting all the people selling "bootleg" reprints of Monster Society Of American Captain Marvel storyline TPBs. Showuing how the last chapter was still under copyright. So is a handful of Captain Marvel related comics.

But yea Mini appears to be bootleg.

I am so glad the nearest Ollies is almost 2 hours. WEnt iin there one time. The plan was drop 20 on comics then 20 on wrestling junk to resell later that day at a BIW show. 220 bucks later I got a buggy full of comics and a WWE Plug and play I am still trying to sell.
