  • I would love to goto that Warehouse. Heard about it many times.

Closest we had to that was one down in NOLA back in the mid 90s. But either Katrina or another Hurricane took it out after I moved to Texas.

Rumor is it won't be around a whole lot longer (though this is just a rumor at this point as far as I'm concerned). It's definitely an experience. If you do make it out there, mask up and wear gloves and watch out for cats and spiders, haha.

      • I keep gloves and masks in my bag and in my car at all times. Lots of times I will see signs for a garage sale stop and the place has been packed full for 20 years.

Had one few months ago snakes were coming in and out the holes in the back walls.

                  • Was set up at a Queens Comic Party show on Saturday, wasn't buying much but I did pick these up for $2 a piece:

                    Penthouse Comix #6
                    Penthouse Comix #33
                    Creepy #45
                    Creepy #62
                    Creepy #71

And a friend gave me a cool A24 promo zine thing called The Von Erichs which ties into The Iron Claw movie and has a short Von Erichs comic in it from Jim Rugg.

                    • Nice haul on the comics. And yea that zine is one I got word out that I am looking for one. Figured one of the 8 or so guys I know worked on The Iron Claw might be able to get one.

I didn't know it existed until a friend handed me a copy, it's pretty cool.

                        • I had heard about it when James Beard mentioned it. He played a ref IIRC in the film. Then a few other indie wrestlers chimed in that they got copies.

Right now is finding something they want to trade them for the zine.

I guess they come with different centerfold/pin ups of the main actors. Main had Jeremy Allen White in it - hooray?
