I got like 80% of the original Maxx stuff when Image was publishing it. What is the difference between that and hte Maxximized versions?

Hit up what was advertised as a TOY SHOW,and while she dug thru 8 tubs of loose TMNT figures I went through some longboxes.

    50 cents each

Ghost World TPB-later printing cause it mentions the film on the cover
Green Arrow Long Bow Hunters #1
Justice League of America 100 Super Spectacular Pages-Some recent reprint thing
    Kabuki Skin Deep #1

Then from a local artist bought 2 issues of his new comic
The Ripper Gene 1,2- $5 each

Then noticed the booth next to the TMNT bins had mags and comic mags

    Bizarre Adventures #25-$8
    Cracked #328-$5
    Epic Illustrated Winter 1980-$8
Fangoria #39-$1 it is a bit beat up but still have a great V mini series cover
    Fangoria #14-$7
Mad Presents the Ultimate Horror Movie-$3

So some decent deals. Hell the Ghost World TPB for 50 cents was a great deal.

And it gave me something to do while she was saying "OMG NEWT A 3rd release April Oneil with Press on her boobs" or "OMG A METAL TMNT TURTLE VAN FOR ONLY 40 bucks"

But I show her a pre issue 50 Fango for a buck and she doesn't get it.

    2 bucks each unless noted

Fandom Confidential #1-Never heard of this mag sized Kitchen Sink Fummetti like comic.
Femforce Frightbook #1-Dick Briefer and Bob Powell reprinted in b/w horror stuff.
Leather and Lace #8-Got both the General audiences and the ADULTS only versions of this issue.
Nightcrawler 1,2,3,4-This is that Dave Cockrum wrote and drawn mini from the 80s. Issue 1 was 3 bucks. But loved this as a kid and haven't read it in 30 years.
Renfield A Tale of Madness TPB-A bit beat up but interesting TPB from Caliber Comics. Vince Locke front cover and Jill Thompson back covder.
Strange Brew-One shot from Aardvark Vanaheim by Michael T Gilbert. Had never heard of this till I saw it.

So 21 bucks for a decent stack of comics.

Hobby shop in town is getting out of comics and going to RPGS and CCGs. So comics are heavily discounted.

Elfquest vol 3 and 4.Those Starblaze tpbs from wwhat the 80s. was 5 for the two total
Prophet remission vol 1-that revamped prophet run was 3 bucks
    Planetary vol 2-3 bucks
    2001 a space oddesy issue 9-2 bucks.

They got a Police Comics issue with a nice Plastic Man cover I got my eye on. Still wanting 20 for it. Which is a decent price. But I know it has been in the shop for years. I wait a bit might get it for 10 or 15 from the owner.
