I flipped through this issue when I was at the comic store yesterday. Haven't read much in the way of new Batman stuff in years but as this was oversized it stood out on the racks. Great artwork.

"Bleeding Cool has confirmed that a CGC 10.0 slabbed copy of Batman Damned #1 with the Jim Lee variant cover, signed by Brian Azzarello, Jim Lee and Lee Bermejo has sold on eBay for $2500."
Also, Frank Miller and Rafael Grampa are working on a new Dark Knight series.
Someone needs to show Jim Lee a bat, or a properly-drawn Batman mask.
Even phoning-it-in Jim Aparo in the late 80's-early 90's at least gave Batman proper ears.
Jim Lee doesn't care. Look at how many times he has been paid in advance for work, then never finished the work. As long as he has his huge fanbase he won't change.
BTW Mr Lee I am still waiting on you to finish your work on ASB&R.
I am beginning to consider selling my copy of the Son of the Demon hardcover. I figure I don't need to hang onto it, it's still in the factory shrink wrap for 1988.
