Picked up a copy of Wrightson's The Mutants from a shop last weekend and finally got around to digging into it last night.
I'd read most of it before (I used to have a copy of this but lost it, along with a signed hardcover edition of A Look Back, in a flood in the 90s that I don't like to think about), a lot of it is reprinted in color in the Master Of The Macabre mini series, but these were originally done for fanzines and published in black and white, where the MotM series reproduced them in color. I like'em better in B&W, it lets you pay closer attention to the line work, which even early on in his career (this material is all early stuff) is pretty damn impressive.
