  • Alison's Birthday

    We watched this last night...

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078751/

Pretty decent if a bit predictable for the most part, though there was a good twist at the very end I didn't see coming. It's similar in a lot of ways to Rosemary's Baby, albeit without a baby.

It had a very 'made for TV' feel to it and it turns out the director, Ian Coughlan (who I'm not familiar with) worked in a lot of Australian TV so maybe that's why.

At any rate, it's a decent early eighties occult movie, performances are decent, it's well paced.

Perfectly acceptable entertainment. No DVD release that I know of but it's around on VHS in a few territories.

^ Same. I thought Ian fucked up and posted in the wrong sub-forum.

I was confused too for a second when I saw it on the main page!

It was a fun movie even though it was pretty predictable as Ian said.
