          Coming from Vinegar Syndrome!

          https://vinegarsyndrome.com/collecti...nfernal-rapist

Carlos, a serial rapist known as "El Gato", is strapped to an electric chair and executed for his vicious crimes. But, before crossing over into the afterlife, Carlos is visited by a Satanic spirit in the form of a beautiful woman, who makes him an offer that he cannot pass up. After literally making a deal with the devil, Carlos is brought back to life and allowed to continue his drug-fueled spree of rape and murder in order to appease his new Satanic ruler. However, the police are hot on his trail after they discover that this new wave of killings seem to be linked to "El Gato" thanks in part to the signature Carlos is required to leave behind at each murder scene: a 666 carved into the victim's body.

An unbelievably savage movie, INFERNAL RAPIST (aka El violador infernal) proves that Mexico is one of the heavy hitters when it comes to making great genre films. Starring Noé Murayama (Guns for San Sebastian), in the role of Carlos, as well as Mexican genre film icon Princesa Lea (Intrépidos punks), as his satanic ruler, INFERNAL RAPIST is a truly one of kind film that is sure to raise the eyebrows of even the most jaded genre fan. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present this little seen south of the border shocker on Blu-ray, scanned in 4k and restored from its original camera negative.

directed by: Damián Acosta Esparza, José Medina
starring: Noé Murayama, Princesa Lea, Ana Luisa Peluffo, Marisol Cervantes, Manuel 'Flaco' Ibáñez, Arturo Mason, Juan Moro, Fidel Abrego

I've only seen this in borderline-unwatchable quality w/o subs. It made no impression, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in a proper presentation.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

I watched the VS disc of this last night and was not disappointed. It really has it all: Satanism, constant drug abuse, nudity, gruesome gore & mutilation, rough nonconsensual sex, cheesy dated special fx. What I liked most about it was that all the actors seemed committed to their roles. Their broad, exaggerated style worked. Yes, it's total trash, but it's done fairly competently for a low budget exploitation film. It felt like a spiritual cousin to some of the cheaper Category III stuff like Bloody Beast or Beauty's Evil Rose that came a few years later out of HK.

I need to finish watching this one, I put it on and dozed off. Probably more of a reflection on my lack of sleep rather than the sleaze levels.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

Impressive! I'd think all the women screaming would be tough to sleep through ;)

It was certainly sleazy but lacked a certain energy or panache I value in exploitation films. Worth a watch for sure.
