Finally watched this one. Features surprisingly high production values for what is a pretty dumb concept. Metal head (played by "Skippy" from Family Ties) is picked on at school, his rock god dies in a freak accident, receives a copy of the rock god's final album that houses his spirit who's now out for revenge.
It's fairly well done but I can't help but think it takes it self a little too seriously given the concept. A lot of fun scenes though and the metal soundtrack is pretty legit.
But it's a picture I've rarely heard mention of. I'd be curious to know what metal heads think of it. Maybe dudes get it confused with Hard Rock Zombies which came out 2 years before this?
