Not much in the way of details yet, but if done right, I'd probably upgrade on this little sickie.

      The caps look very nice.
That 3rd one needs a NSFW tag though:)

        That depends where you work!

These do look really nice though. Looking forward to this one a lot.

        Any word on extras, Heinz?

          @ Ian:

Not yet. We're still in the restoration process but once we finished it, we take care about some extras.

          Btw. Here are a few non-final (JPG-)impressions:

That's looking very handsome. I like this film a lot; I'm looking forward to seeing it in HD.

Scorpion Releasing posted this on FB...

"Big thanks to Greg Caggiano for the tour of the Strauss Mansion for the up coming Blu of DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE!!"

"looking at the label on the original negatives and other various elements of DON'T GO IN THE HOUSE, its interesting that the original titles were THE BURNING!! Imagine if they kept that title, then the 1981 THE BURNING would had to find a different title!"

                    That's great news!

DGITH isn't the goriest slasher but it does have some very harsh themes & that first burn scene is brutal! I love that tagline, "In a steel room built for revenge they die burning... in chains". I hope Scorpion considers it for cover art.

This is one of my favorite 70's horror films. I thought the Subkultur disc looked absolutely spectacular! But am I reading this correctly that the new Scorpion release will be a new and better scan of the OCN?

I'll definitely be buying the blu as soon as it's available. Will I need to keep the SS dvd for the 'uncovered' goodies...?

What shit cover art that reversible blue zombie drawing is.

Should have used the vhs art for the 2nd cover
